How to pick the best photo for Me Art.
Me Art looks best when the following conditions are met when choosing a photo.
- Choose a photo that you absolutely love! Candid photos work best. Your child's personality should shine through. You'll be happy with your Me Art only if you're very happy with the original photo.
- Close-up photos of the face (head shots) work best.
- Photos should have good lighting, but not be washed out. Some contrast is needed.
- Photos should have as much detail in the face as possible. And simple backgrounds work best.
- Photos should be uncompressed or minimally compressed. Use the highest quality jpg or pdf. possible. Use a minimum of 600 dpi if scanned . The larger the Me Art, the more resolution the photo needs. If taken from a digital camera, do not resize the image. The image should be photographed at the highest dpi. (3-5 pixels work best.) The image should be at least a 1000K if taken from a digital camera.
- We will let you know if your photo does not have enough resolution for the size Me Art you choose. We will email you if it doesn't meet our quality standards.
- We do not accept copyrighted photos, not authorized for permission.
How to send us your photo.
Upload your photo on www.meart.com or email it to us at create@meart.com. If you don't have a digital photo, you can also send us an original photo by mail, and we can scan it for $10.
- We will send you the original photo back in the same condition we received it. We are not responsible for lost or stolen photos due to shipping.
